The Centurion XPM2 explosion-proof digital camera ls the world's first portable digital camera to be ATEX Certified for use within a mining environment. Incorporating a 5 mega pixel sensor, Centurion XPM2 has the ability to capture images up to an Incredible 10 megapixels, plus moving pictures in AVI format.

Each Centurion XPM2 is supplied as standard with an onboard strobe flash in addition to an ultra-high resolution lens system for maximum picture quality in low light explosive areas.

Captured images can be viewed for clarity and content quickly in the field on the armoured LCD screen located at the rear of the camera. With 2Gb of onboard image storage Centurion XPM2 can store
hundreds of images which are then transferred via high speed USB communications link to a PC, once in the safe area.
