The Atex iSCAN200 is a modern cordless barcode scanner designed for use in hazardous (classified) locations. It consists of a battery powered hand held laser scanner available in standard or longe-range versions for scanning up to 71 inches (1.8 meters). An IP66 certified base station/receiver can be connected to a PC or control system using either PS2, RS232, or RS485 connections.
Up to six scanners may share the base station, and multiple base stations set to different frequencies may operate in the same local area without interfering with each other.
