The ATEX Laser Tachometer is the ideal fast laser accurate measurement tool for use of measuring the revolution of a shaft and speed in zone 1 hazardous areas. The Ex-Tacho 10 has a simple 5 digit large display with pulse recognition and high accuracy in a handy size. The digital display is readable for over head measurement and measures revolution and speed at a range from 3 up to 99,999 rpm. The ATEX Laser Tachometer only weighs 360g allowing easy one handed opeartion and has an Auto-off after 1 min.

Applications are to be found in the processcontroled field for the contactless measurement of the revolutions of a shaft at a safe distance using a laser beam. For boiler mixers, the rotor speed can be readoff from the drive shaft at a safe distance
and documented. Motor revolutions can be acquired contactlessly in the immediate
vicinity without having to open or remove safety fittings such as covers or protective grills. The duration of pulses or the intervals between them can be simply, easily and accurately ascertained.
