The ATEX Handheld Airflow Meter AirWolf II is a hand-held air velocity sensor which has been tested an proven over a long duration in harsh South African underground mining conditions. The Intrinsically Safe  Handheld Airflow Meter AirWolf II uses the Vortex Shredding principle to accurately measure air velocity. There are no moving parts in the ATEX Handheld Airflow Meter AirWolf II making the instrument highly insensitive to dust, temperature and humidity.

The ATEX Handheld Airflow Meter AirWolf II has no moving parts, is accurate and easy to use by personnel. The Intrinsically Safe Handheld Airflow Meter AirWolf II has the option to display realtime airspeed and the option to display average airspeed over a period of time. The ATEX Handheld Airflow Meter has a long life battery and a range from 0.1 up to 10 m/s. The ATEX Handheld Airflow Meter AirWolf II has an ultrasonic sensor and a speed indication using mean velocity continuously. The Intrinsically Safe Handheld Airflow Meter AirWolf II has an easy to use and understand 2 digit LED display and is powered by 4 x AA Alkaline batteries sealed in the unit which has a lifetime of aproxximately two years.
