Configuration 1: Indoor Unit for ATEX Zone 2 + Outdoor Unit for Safe Area
Most common setup. The indoor unit in your hazardous area connects to an outdoor unit in a non-classified zone.
Configuration 2: Indoor Unit for Safe Area + Outdoor Unit for ATEX Zone 2
Ideal when the hazardous area is outdoors, such as offshore platforms or outdoor chemical processing areas.
Configuration 3: Both Units for ATEX Zone 2
Complete explosion-proof system when both indoor and outdoor locations are in classified zones.
