The ATEX Guard Tour reader is an intrinsically safe and accurate management solution, the ATEX guard tour reader benefits oil and gas sites as they do to other patrol sites. The intrinsically safe ATEX certified Guard Tour Reader is explosion proof, shock and water resistant, has no button and cable port and is has a large and reliable data storage. The ATEX Guard tour reader has minimum moving parts and a clear LCD display.
The ATEX Guard Tour reader works with proximity EMID tags and cards. On every read, the ATEX Guard Tour reader stores the tag IDs together with a time stamp in line with its clock. The ATEX Guard Tour reader uses wireless communication to transfer the data from the reader to the PC. The ATEX Guard Tour reader is compliant with all station models such as BS-1000, BS-3300, etc.
The Guard tour reader will wake up and switch on automatically to perform card reading when a valid RFID card appears within its reading range. The reader will switch to idle mode in 10 seconds after a successful read. The readers depend on the communication station to upload data to PC, which can be done local or remote.
