The enclosure is certified under ATEX (OBAC 26 ATEX 0194X) and IECEx (IECEx OBAC 26.0005X). ATEX marking: II 3G Ex nR IIC T6 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIC T85°C Dc. IECEx marking: Ex nR IIC T6 Gc and Ex tc IIIC T85°C Dc.
Protection by the enclosure
Gas protection is based on restricted breathing (Ex nR), dust protection on protection by enclosure (Ex tc). The enclosure has degree of protection IP64.
ESD-safe POM-C enclosure
Milled frame of ESD-safe POM-C, a transparent Plexiglas back plate and an impact-resistant polycarbonate display window, sealed with a 3 mm silicone rubber O-ring.
Tablet functions remain usable
Touchscreen, cameras, microphones and speakers stay accessible. Three stainless steel push buttons operate the physical buttons of the tablet through a patented inlay system.
Modular and upgradeable
The tablet is held in place by device-specific ABS corner inlays. It can be replaced or renewed without modifying the certified enclosure.
Storage and network options
Available with 128 GB or 256 GB storage, expandable with a microSD card, and as Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + 5G configuration.

Specific conditions of use (X)
Both certificates carry the suffix X. The following specific conditions of use apply:
- The Ex UniCase may only be opened or closed outside the hazardous area.
- The USB lid and the test port plug must always be mounted in the hazardous area.
- The device must be protected from impacts with high impact energy, against excessive UV light emission and against high electrostatic charge processes.

The set is intended for professional use in Zone 2 and Zone 22 hazardous areas, with the functions of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE available behind the certified enclosure.
