The ATEX Handheld Terminal TT8000Ex is a Zone 2 certified handheld PDA for use in hazardous area's. The TT8000Ex complies with the IP65 standard and is suitable for use under the toughest conditions. The device is equipped with 512MB ROM storage, two serial interfaces and one USB interface. The ATEX Handheld features an aluminium core for maximum stability. The standard long life rechargeable battery assures maximum usability within the Zone.

The TT8000Ex is equipped with Windows CE 5.0, ensuring all the functionality you need in an ATEX Handheld. The rich set of programming tools can be used to create custom applications. The device has a 23 keys Matrix keyboard for easy data entry and the touchscreen can be operated with a stylus. The TT8000Ex supports additional memory with a compact flash card slot, and an SD card slot.

The TT8000ExC can communicate through a GSM/ GPRS Quadband Modem, WLAN and Bluetooth. But is also equipped with a 20 channel GPS receiver, SIRF Star III.

The TT8000Ex is equipped with a 1D / 2D Imager and 1.3 Megapixel Camera to capture images on the go.
