II 2G Ex ib IIC T4 Gb: equipment group II, category 2G for gas atmospheres in Zone 1 and Zone 2, intrinsic safety level "ib", gas group IIC, temperature class T4 (maximum surface temperature 135°C), equipment protection level Gb.
II 2D Ex ib IIIC T135°C Db: category 2D for dust atmospheres in Zone 21 and Zone 22, intrinsic safety level "ib", dust group IIIC, maximum surface temperature 135°C, equipment protection level Db.

Specific conditions of use (X)

- The battery may be replaced outside explosive hazardous areas only.
- The device must be protected from impacts with high impact energy, against excessive UV light emission and against high electrostatic charge processes.
- The USB-C interface is protected by an IP interface cover and may only be opened outside the hazardous areas.
- The 16-pin ISM interface must be closed with the corresponding cover when not in use in hazardous areas.
- The device shall be protected from exposure to oils, greases and hydraulic fluids.
- The permitted ambient temperature range is -20 °C to +55 °C.
- The permitted charging temperature range is 0 °C to +45 °C.
