The CUBO X is an ATEX Zone 1 certified stainless steel enclosure that can be used in an ATEX environment. The enclosure is suitable for Ex i, Ex e and Ex tD protection types.

The product can be used in temperatures from -55 Degrees celsius to +40 Degrees celsius. The protection the is IP66, and you can choose for IP67.

There are 4 versions available of the product, when you choose for version 1 the cover is fastened with screws and is connected with a ground strap. Version 2 uses tight hinges and cover screws on the opposite side. When you choose for version 3 there are also tight hinges, and one or several locks. Note that the version 3 quarter turn latch certificate is still pending. There is also an version 4 available, at the version 4 the cover is fastened with screws as in version 1. Difference is that in this version the cover is secured with hinges that enable its free movement.

The CUBO X can for example be used in a situation where you have an product that is not ATEX Certified, but that you want to use in an ATEX environment. When the product is within the temperature range (from -55 to +40 Degrees celsius), it can be placed in the CUBO X, and you can use it in an ATEX Environment.
